Children add a new dimension to life. Things get displaced and disordered when a child rules everyday life. Relations and circumstances change. Before that I wasn't aware of the necessity of things I do now and whereby I surprise myself.. It sometimes looks strange. So far inanimate objects in the apartment get awakened to life, daily chaos dispreads, accidents and cross cuts throw me back for sensed hours. It's not clear to say where I remain myself or who I am now, but one thing is sure: I see the world in different ways.
The pictures are to be representatives for all those images that daily arise in families either imaginary or for real. They form an antipode, though, to typical pictures in photo albums or picture frames on the bed table or on the writing desk. They report from being involved and pose questions to oneself, to the very own role in life. Least but not last they are observations of social behaviour within a family with a small child.
